TaiwanLiteratureBase
After opening to the public in 2020, TLB has expanded beyond No. 25 and 27, Section 2, Jinan Road to include the Japanese-style buildings at No. 2-10, Lane 53 of Qidong Street as well as No. 12-16 Happy Meadow, Lane 53.
Exhibitions, cross-domain performances, writers-in-residence programs, courses, lectures, and local day study activities that reflect topics and subjects of contemporary interest and promote creative writing will be regularly organized to help the public participate fully in the TLB campus’ literary and cultural atmosphere. We hope that all visitors will, in addition to learning about the stories from history, learn from each other and kindle a love for literature and community knowledge.
We look forward to the TLB becoming a place where all are welcome to relax and share. In this space, everyone can get close to, interpret, and appreciate literature in their own way and infuse Taiwanese literature into everyday life.
